Letter sized paper is like comfortable slippers, but when you need something to get you through on a dark wet morning, you don’t want fuzzy slippers, you need something optimized for the job. Integrating left right’s with farside stops or timepoints on narrower paper only makes sense when you have a limited amount of usable space at the front end of a 40ft coach.
